Though it's not the first time I've sat through a meeting on Thursday, getting used to it still takes some time. I can understand if most of the items on the agenda are worthy of my attention but they are not. Too many adminstrative measures that could have been better spent on letting my fellow colleagues knock off work earlier and get the extra rest at home. It's just the usual buffet lunch that I look forward to every Thursday (meeting is held once every fortnightly to minimize the need to stay back). My supervisor has already confirmed with me that the first observation will be on the 1st April and the final one 2 weeks later. It's good to get it settled once and for all.
